چکیده

DME (Dimethyl Ether) is the future environmental friendly fuel. Some parts of equipment for transporting are using rubber as a hoses or seals. This research about natural those applications. The influential part in manufacture products fillers. use filler depends on what product will be made. nature have high permeability and easy to absorb into plastic. In such that, plastic could damaged not durable. order determine type degradation, number samples were immersed liquid DME. ratio loading carbon black/silica was varied. causes two types namely absorption extraction. addition composition can reduce extraction, which cause reduction percentage decrease value change mass tensile strength. On other hand, increase changes hardness. higher loading, crosslink density lower scorch time. presence silica further enhance well Therefore, affect decreasing swelling level shrinking. general, mixture slightly lowering strength, but affecting elongation at break. before after soaking with

Carbon-silica Dual Phase Filler, a New Generation Reinforcing Agent for Rubber. Part Vi. Time-temperature Superposition of Dynamic Properties of Carbon-silica Dual Phase Filler-filled Vulcanizates

Dynamic properties such as shear modulus, loss modulus, and loss factor were obtained at low strain amplitude over a wide range of frequency and temperature on vulcanizates filled with carbon black, silica, and carbon-silica dual phase filler. The data were shifted along the frequency scale. It was found that instead of a single smooth master curve, a pseudo-master curve with feather-like struc...

Influence of Different Fillers on Natural Rubber Composites to Assess Mechanical Performance

Effect of different fillers on natural rubber compounds was investigated through curing, mechanical properties and morphology studies for improving mechanical performance of rubber articles. In this work, natural rubber blends with Silica as Single-filler compounds, and blends with Silica and Carbon black as Bi-filler compounds were considered. Then, natural rubber blends with Silica, Carbon bl...

Occupational asthma caused by natural rubber latex.

IgE-mediated sensitization in protein allergens of natural rubber latex (NRL) can induce immediate hypersensitivity reactions ranging from mild urticaria in life threatening anaphylaxis after cutaneous, mucosal or visceral exposure. Elutable allergens from NRL gloves absorb to the cornstarch powder particles, become airborne, and have the potential to cause respiratory reactions. Recent studies...

Investigation of structural, morphological and dynamic mechanical properties of unvulcanized PDMS/silica compound

In this study, the interaction between the silica filler and polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS) was investigated from the aspects of the bound rubber and morphological characterization. With special attention to the dynamic properties, the dynamic test was conducted by dynamic shear rheometer. The results show that the modified fillers disperse uniformly within PDMS matrix without aggregation and con...

the effect of silica/carbon black filler systems on the fatigue properties of the tread compound in passenger tires

this research work is devoted to the investigation on the use of silica on the fatigue-to-failure property of a tire tread compound. a reference compound was frst designed in which 60 phr carbon black was used as the reinforcing fller. while keeping the total of fller content to be constant as 60 phr, three additional compounds with 5, 10 and 20 phr silica were then manufactured. the classical ...
